Hi, I’m Julieta.

Since 2014, I’ve been helping students achieve their language goals and develop greater confidence in English.
I specialise in working with upper-intermediate and advanced learners (B1–C2), including Cambridge candidates and English teachers and translators who want to refine their language skills and communicate with greater precision and confidence.

Especially designed for teachers and translators (trainees and graduates) who want to explore and discuss current topics.
This course is an opportunity to put your English to practice and gain fluency, to expand your language knowledge and to become a more confident advanced user of the language.

If you’re thinking of studying to be an English teacher or translator and you need to pass the admission exam (C1), this course is for you. I started teaching this course at IES Olga Cossettini back in 2016 and I’ve been teaching it privately since 2020. A challenging formative course that will give you the tools not only to enter college but also to successfully navigate the degree.
Main focus: language (grammar and vocabulary) and reading.

Grammar Awareness B2+
A course for those with a B1/B1+ level of English who want to revise the main grammar points of the language.
This is no traditional grammar course–don’t expect mindless practice and lots of repetition! In this course, we’ll be exploring grammar while discussing current topics (an article, a podcast, a piece of news) so that you can appropriate the structures. Be ready to give your opinion and put to use all the new language.
Monday & Wednesday 6pm-7pm (GMT-3)

Speaking Hub B2+
The Speaking Hub is designed for intermediate and upper-intermediate students who enjoy discussing a range of topics (mundane, controversial, thought-provoking and delicate ones) at the same time as exploring the language (grammar and vocabulary) that they offer. We read articles, listen to podcasts and watch videos to learn, discuss and reflect. Are you this person?
